i hate this printer

I have had this printer for two years and often wish it would breaks completely so I can justify getting a new.
1. the fax has never worked since the day I got it and that was why I spent a little extra
2. seems any time I am printing from comp. and it is more than a couple pages long I get a paper jam.
3. after taking the little door off the back to fix the jam, it has to be put back on "just so" because if it is not the next piece of paper will either push the door back off or you get a terrible grinding sound.
4. you barely bump the paper tray an it falls off.
5 worked good at first with a normal amount of paper in the tray, but has gotten picky and will jam if there is more than 10 sheets now.
6. this model has a document feed feature for coping or scanning which was awesome till it quit
It still prints if I loom over it and it scans ok. It isn't used every day, and I expected a lot better performance from an HP product. I would recommend steering clear of this model.

It's just a good, husky home office printer. Nothing fancy, nothing sexy, just a good all round printer/copier/scanner that gets the job done.

A good product

I have had this for some time but still, often, have difficulty printing and/or scanning. It seems that the machine often objects to what I want to do in spite of my carefully following instructions.
