Works on Windows 8!

HP has all the drivers you need for this printer, comes with the install disc, and a black and color ink cartridge. luckily I already had the necessary usb cable, only downside is that it doesnt come with that usb cable. it is called a usb a to b cable. Other than that it is a great printer, lightweight and excellent quality.

Economical printer

I purchased this after my hpf4580 died after 2 years and 2000 copies. Anyone still complaining about the missing USB cable can't read or didn't read the box. Cell phones no longer come with all the accessories so this point is mute. Good printer for the price, easy setup and fast printing. Cheaper ink than cannon and better than epson

BETTER THAN CANON

MY HP computer sucks. But this printer has been pretty solid so far. Much better than my Canon that suddenly decided to load pages not straight ! Only complains is that to get it to print on an envelope, I have to load the envelope a few times before it catches. But otherwise, it's been solid.
